The Argentine Association for Computational Mechanics (AMCA) gathers engineers, physicists, mathematicians and any person interested in:
- promoting the diffusion of scientific information and knowledge in the field of Computational Mechanics,
- fostering the scientific and professional exchange in the employment of numerical methods and computational techniques in research as well as his transfer to the industrial sector.
- leverage research and learning in the field of basic theories of Computational Mechanics at graduate and post-graduate levels,
- gather academical, industrial, and governmental institutions, that manifest interest in the scientific research or technological innovation in the field, establishing a forum for the discussion of problems where actors from thebasic sciences, technology, and industry will participate.
In order to achieve this objectives, AMCA performs this activities
- Coordination of scientific meetings.
- Exchange of information and scientific and technological work among its members.
- Organization of a congress sponsored by the Association at regular time intervals.
- Compilation of an informative bulletin about the general activities of AMCA.
